About us
The young and dynamic Etesiane orchestra is based in Brussels, Belgium. Its name is inspired by “the etesian”, a warm and powerful Mediterranean wind: when you’re linked to the Etesiane project, as an audience member, orchestra musician, or other, it warms your heart.
Depending on the project, the orchestra brings together between 15 and 85 musicians who share a common aspiration: to use music as a means of connection and to bring positive energy to everyone around us. The musicians have performed with major musical institutions in Belgium, such as the Belgian National Orchestra, the Monnaie orchestra, the Opéra Royal de Wallonie, the Flanders Opera, the Liège Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Brussels Philharmonic.
Since its founding in 2023, Etesiane has taken part in over 40 musical projects, and its debut album “Missa Brevis” will be released in 2025 under the Cypres label.
